Lafont has frames within it's collection that are upcycled. Upcycled meaning, reusing in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original. They have frames in their adult frames as well as in their kids lines that are eco friendly. The process combines older recycled acetate and are 70% bio-acetate. This lessens the half life of the frame when it is thrown away.

They use natural materials such as wood, cotton and castor oil.
